Perfect for the little ones, a miniature version of our traditional Southsea Deckchair.

This teeny deckchair comes with safety bolts to keep it permanently upright and ensure it can't trap little fingers. Recommended for ages 3 to 5 years.

Our deckchairs are the same chairs you see on promenades and beaches all around the UK and beyond.

Manufactured to withstand the elements and heavy use, they look great in the garden or on a terrace. Committed to excellent build quality, our timber frames are made with durable hardwood, finished with teak oil.  They look fabulous and have a noticeably more solid feel than spindly, wibbly-wobbly ones.

To help protect the environment we only use sustainably sourced timber with PEFC certification.

Printed cotton feels nice to the touch and has a natural spring to it, making it very comfortable. Although shower-proof we don't recommend leaving it outside continuously, please note that printed cotton will gradually fade over time, more so in bright sunlight.

Made in UK

Since 1991

These are the same chairs you see on promenades and beaches all around the UK.  Manufactured to withstand the elements and heavy use, they look great in a garden or on a terrace.

  • The Best Selection

Available in traditional deckchair stripes, multi-stripes and a kaleidoscope of vibrant colours and modern patterns.

  • British Craftsmanship

A noticeably more solid feel than those spindly, wibbly-wobbly ones.  We are committed to maintaining excellent build quality and caring for the environment

STRENGTH

A heavy-duty moulding of 22mm x 47mm is used for the framework; this provides great strength and a noticeably more solid feel than some spindly domestic deckchairs. Mortise and tenon joints are now used instead of dowel joints, giving even greater strength and rigidity.

LONGEVITY

We use the durable hardwood Merpauh for our frames, treated with teak oil. This provides excellent protection against the elements and withstands wear. As well as extending the deckchair’s working life, the fine finish enhances its natural appearance. Greater durability means a longer life-cycle and less frequent replacement.

sustainable

Southsea products are all made from timber sourced from sustainable forests and each invoice will have our certification details whether PEFC or FSC®. The Southsea deckchair is built for easy part replacement including fabric change. It makes no sense to throw away a chair if one part can be replaced.
