MAINLAND UK AND ISLE OF WIGHT
For Mainland UK (and the Isle of Wight) delivery is normally 2 – 4 working days. For delivery addresses not on the U.K. mainland (including Northern Ireland) – please contact us before you place your order as surcharges will apply.
The Italian Cruise chair may also attract delivery surcharges to addresses in Scotland as it has to be delivered on a pallet. Please contact us before ordering. We use a commercial carrier service, whose normal delivery schedule is Monday to Friday, 07.00 to 18.00. It is not possible to specify precise times. If you need delivery on a specific day, please add this information on the secure payment page in the extra information box.
We deliver to the entrance of your property. Our carriers do not unpack, position furniture or take away packaging. Please tell us about any access problems before you place your order. We normally require a signature for the delivery. If nobody is in when the delivery is made, a card will be left by the carrier with further instructions on how to rearrange the delivery.
A very small number of our products, as specifically mentioned, are very large and require a specialised carrier who will book in the delivery. Because of this special procedure, delivery normally takes 10 -14 days and help will be required with offloading.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES (INCL EUROPE)
We are happy to despatch items outside the UK mainland but please contact us before ordering so we can ensure you have the correct delivery price. The additional charges that will apply can be substantial so we strongly advise you to make contact to ensure these costs are not prohibitive.
All prices for extra carriage to non-UK mainland addresses do not include any local import duties or taxes that may apply. We advise non-EU customers to check with their local customs office before ordering to check the level of these fees. Please note that you will be fully liable for any extra charges that occur when the items pass through customs.
WHEN YOUR DELIVERY ARRIVES
Delivery will be deemed as successfully made once the product has arrived at the address specified. Signatures will be required as proof of delivery, but confirmation procedures are ultimately decided by third-party organisations. All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over.
Products will be deemed to be your responsibility once they have been received by you, your agent or the intended recipient. Any loss or damage to the products shall then be at your own risk. Products will only be left at the delivery address without the recipient’s signature if you have specifically requested this and by so doing, you accept all liability as to the completeness and security of the goods. In this case we will not accept any claims for short or nondelivery of your order.
In case of delivery to certain locations such as hospitals, airports, hotels, ships and other business premises, the signature of any person authorised to accept delivery on behalf of the organisation shall be accepted as proof of delivery. Should delivery be refused at the delivery address and re-requested for another date, we may charge for the second delivery, as we met our delivery obligations with the initial delivery attempt. It is the recipient’s responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier’s delivery consignment note.
Shortages must be noted on the consignment note where possible. You should notify us of the shortages within 3 days of delivery. If boxes look damaged on delivery we recommend the contents are inspected before accepting and signing the delivery note.
