Deckchairs at the Beautiful Burgh Island Hotel

The Burgh Island Hotel recently sent us photos of Southsea Deckchairs and Wideboys set up in their magnificent location!

Burgh Island Hotel is an wonderful Devon landmark, a shining white ocean liner, moored on its own tidal island, surrounded by beautiful golden beaches and silver seas. Built in 1929, extended in 1932 and now restored to its '30s glamour, the Burgh Island Hotel is a retreat out of time like none other.

It is no surprise that Agatha Christie, Noel Coward and other pre-War luminaries made Burgh Island their second home!

And The Winner Is...
As you may remember, Stephen (Managing Director) paid the talented Southampton Solent Interior Design and Decoration BA (hons) first years and Rosie Cate a visit last month, to judge a Deckchair Design Competition! We found all of their designs to be experimental and creative, adding a contemporary edge to the classic deckchair. However, unfortunately there can only be one winner!
Congratulations Eve Morgan!
